Payroll that already knows the month

Payroll goes wrong at the seams — between attendance, leave and the salary sheet. duduHR removes those seams: loss-of-pay, encashment and approved leave are already in the system when you start a run, and statutory deductions are computed from settings you control rather than a formula buried in a spreadsheet.

Salary structures you define

Build your own salary components with codes, earning or deduction type, fixed or computed calculation, and explicit flags for whether each is taxable and whether it attracts PF or ESI. Assign structures per employee and record revisions over time, so a mid-year hike is history you can inspect rather than an overwrite.

Statutory handling that is configuration, not code

PF, ESI, professional tax and TDS are each enabled and tuned per organisation: employee and employer PF rates, the wage ceiling and whether to cap to it, ESI rates and the wage threshold, PT slabs and income-tax slabs. Both the old and new tax regimes are supported, with a configurable default — because the right answer differs by company and by employee.

Declarations, payslips and Form 16

Employees submit investment declarations that feed tax computation instead of arriving as email attachments in March. Payroll runs generate payslips per employee, and Form 16 follows from the same data — one chain, not three systems reconciled by hand.

Attendance and leave already accounted for

Loss-of-pay derives from recorded attendance and approved leave, and leave encashment arrives as an earning on the payslip already marked for payout. The run reflects the month that actually happened.

Frequently asked questions

Does duduHR handle PF and ESI?

Yes. Both are configurable per organisation — rates for employee and employer, PF wage ceiling and capping behaviour, and the ESI wage threshold — and individual salary components carry their own PF and ESI applicability flags.

Are both tax regimes supported?

Yes. Old and new regimes are both supported and you can set the organisation's default, with income-tax and professional-tax slabs maintained as configuration.

Can employees see their own payslips?

Yes. Payslips are available to employees in their own workspace, alongside the investment declarations they submit.

Do we have to re-enter attendance for payroll?

No. Attendance, approved leave, loss-of-pay and encashment are already in the system, so the payroll run draws on them directly.
